Concept:

The two large undulating planes suggest the motion of arriving and departure. while one shape suggests the  "Arriving"  to the station, the other shape implies "Departing" into a journey. This station is the exchange place for knowledge, diversity and opportunity. The college provides knowledge, the community and the station  provide diversity, and the two combined provide opportunities for all. This is the reciprocity of intellect, diversity, and opportunity between the campus, Lakewood, the broader community, and the world. Knowledge obtain, knowledge gained and knowledge given.
